HOLY MISSION TO KIGALI - RWANDA
22nd/APRIL/2006 TO 24th/APRIL/2006

Finally the day had come, Saturday 22nd/April/2006, the day God the Father Himself had Chosen for the Free Jesus Pictures to get on their way to Rwanda; The time had now come as the Scriptures say:

"Now begin the work, and the Lord be with You"  
(1 Chronicles 22:16)
"Therefore prepare your minds for action"  
(1 Peter 1:13)

The Challenge was in the moment. The time was then. After days of mental and Spiritual readiness involving Prayer and Fasting my Body and Soul were ready for the FATHER'S will regarding My Journey to Rwanda; Earlier, the devil had taken me through so much stressful outbursts, torturing me with Disease and horrible nightmares all in an Endeavor to Prevent me from doing that which the FATHER had sent me to do in Rwanda. I Glorify the FATHER and thank him so Much for having been by my side through all these "storms and Floods"- THANK YOU SO MUCH MY FATHER IN HEAVEN.

THE FATHER'S PLAN

What had been planned by OPERATION FREE JESUS PICTURES for the Jesus Free Pictures to reach Rwanda on Easter had not been possible due to the late Delivery of the Box of pictures to Uganda; after Easter it became apparent that the timing may have failed but GOD'S PLAN for the Pictures to reach Rwanda had not failed. The enemy (Satan) tried to oppose the delivery of the Box to Uganda but by GOD'S GRACE the Box arrived Uganda in perfect condition.

On Saturday afternoon (22nd-04-2006), I went to the Booking Offices of the Buses for Rwanda so that I could pay for My Bus ticket to travel to Rwanda that Saturday afternoon, however I was informed that there were no more Buses heading for Rwanda that day, My heart felt weak, I felt Sad and low; While planning what to do next I was told there was an Option of either traveling on Sunday morning( 2 am) or 9 am, I opted for the later( 2 am) since my earlier plan was to be in Kigali-Rwanda by Sunday, hence getting on the Bus at 2 am would take me eight hours to reach Rwanda, reaching Kigali the capital on Sunday morning in time for the morning Church service at Pastor Francis' Church; This is exactly what happened, my Pre-meditation of the whole journey worked out exactly, regardless of the fact that I was going to travel late night.

At 2:10 am (Sunday Morning) I got onto the Bus leaving Kampala-Uganda. It had started to rain by then and as we traveled it got heavier, at a certain stage it became a storm. I was trying to get some sleep like every one else on the Bus but I couldn't, I experienced a feeling of restlessness as I kept Praying within My Heart; I have this habit of Praying within my Heart at any time, in any Place so my mind happened to drift into Prayer as the Bus traveled in that heavy Rainfall, after some time I started to hear my sub-conscious speak to me from within..." A BLESSING------A BLESSING-------A BLESSING-A BLESSING.." Straight away My Heart figured out that this was the HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKING; The Heavy Rainfall was Indeed a Blessing, A Blessing to a country which had long suffered at the cruelty of the devil, and A Blessing to the Country of Rwanda as the Free JESUS Pictures were on their way there.

At 6 am the journey was almost half way, we were still in Uganda and had reached Mbarara (My Home Village), the Bus stopped in the town area and re-fuelled, in a-few minutes the Bus was back on road, however Mbarara was Dry, it was not raining there. the Bus traveled on in the quite Cold morning of Sunday as I was trying to catch some Sleep but all in vain, all I could do was to close my eyes and meditate as though I was awaiting a huge errand ahead of me!

At 8:45 am the Bus had reached Katuna, the Border of Uganda and Rwanda, it was now raining heavily, we had to get out of the bus to go through Immigration Office (Uganda), there was a long queue of people as I waited for my travel documents to get stamped, this almost took some twenty to thirty minutes, after which I had to jog about half a Kilometer in the rain to get to the other side of Rwanda were I still had to get into a queue of people in order to get my travel documents again stamped by the Rwanda Immigration Office at their border; At 9:33-35 am we were all back on to the Bus which had by now crossed to Rwanda side( it was still raining); My Heart felt glad, I was now on foreign soil-Rwanda, Finally the FREE JESUS PICTURES HAD ARRIVED IN RWANDA-JESUS HAD ARRIVED IN RWANDA-HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!

          
Beautiful Rwanda: God bless them and heal them

Rwanda is a very beautiful country, endowed with Beautiful Land physical features and green vegetation, the Hilly mountainous highlands that welcome you as you enter the country are so breath taking, I had to stretch out my head out of the Bus window to take a good photo shot. The streams of water, the early morning rain and mist in the distant mountainous plains instantly made me fall in LOVE with Rwanda, and that was just the start of it, I was yet to experience the real "warmth" of Rwanda by what was awaiting for me when I got to meet the inhabitants there in.

After several kilometers into Rwanda, traveling through rural neighborhoods, a sign of urbanization started to show, more buildings, cars and busy people. At about 11 am the Bus had reached Nyabugogo, a town with a Mountain land mark; it was such an incredible sight to have a view of the mountain right in the town.

The Bus stopped at a petrol fuelling station as some people were getting off the bus; I asked whether we had reached Kigali and I was told that it was just a-few Kilometers ahead; noticing the busy crowds around the area, I decided to get off the Bus with my two bags and box of pictures, I was going to give out the first pictures here at Nyabugogo.

I got off the bus as it continued to rain and started giving out the pictures; every one was eager to receive the Free Jesus Pictures, those traveling in the taxi vans, Pedestrians and the ones in the Super market at the fuelling station. I could see the joy on their faces as they wore the stringed pictures around their necks, some of them were eagerly reaching out to hold and have a closer look at my laminated Identity Card Which Apostle Char made specially for me-THANK YOU SO MUCH CHAR AND MAY THE FATHER BLESS YOU.

I called Pastor on a public pay phone and he sent some one to come and pick me, by the time he came, I had already given out several of the pictures and the Kinyarwanda tracts, making some Friends; these two below gave me their addresses and wish to receive more free Jesus pictures sent to them: NIYOTUMURAGIJE JOHN DAMASCENE. (John wants several Pictures to give out at his university, He told me that there were several students there who really Loved Jesus) and NSEGIMANA ERINEST.

When I reached Pastor's Church I felt glad, glad that the JESUS Pictures were now in the house of the LORD. The Church choir there is so great, they sing and dance so well for the Lord.

I was introduced by the Pastor and I spoke about the FATHER'S PROPHECY on Rwanda through Prophet Silvana Lupetti and Apostle Char Tierney of OPERATION FREE JESUS PICTURES; Shortly after the Pictures were given out, the Kids were so excited and so Happy as they received the pictures. The Church congregation was so happy, after the church service they all came to me and thanked me so much for doing the FATHER'S WILL, they Hugged me and wanted me to stay there forever, if only I didn't have commitments back home in Uganda, I surely would have stayed with these God Loving warm People.

MY SECOND DAY IN RWANDA

On Monday 24th/04/2006, as earlier on planned I had to go to an Orphanage, Hospital, and Prison; This I accomplished except for the Prison it was not possible going there because a certain procedure had to be followed, such as going to seek permission from the head of prisons, hence due to the long process we agreed with the Pastor that he would work on this after I had left so I left more Free Jesus Pictures with him to take to the Prison at a later date after being allowed access by the Prison top official.

Together with the Pastor, we went to the above mentioned infant school of about fifty children aged three to six years, this two blocked nursery school is in its introductory stage and is an Initiative by Pastor Francis to try and Promote early childhood education in this area were the young generation is being given all the available opportunities regarding education and literacy since they are the future role models that Rwanda has its eyes on after almost an entire decade of tribal constraints and conflicts hindering the economic, social/religious, and political development of the country;I was filled with emotion (passion) for these young ones who were innocent in the eyes of the FATHER in Heaven, yet they had lived in the middle of all the despotic tribal tension at their tender age; By the instruction of one of their teachers, these kids even said the LORD'S PRAYER for me, Surely the FATHER LOVES THEM!

The Pastor told me that there were several challenges and inadequacies they were faced with at this newly established small scale institution. There are plans to expand the structure (in order to enroll more kids), have the present rooms painted, they are not painted. They lack enough scholastic materials for the kids, there is greater need for provision of readings aids such as story books, Reading charts, Black Board, exercise books, Pencils, indoor/out door Playing time simple equipment etc.

I promised that I would help in providing some story books when I got back to Kampala, am hoping to get some little money so as to buy some few books and send to Pastor Francis in Rwanda. I Kindly appeal to any Good Samaritans out there to offer any help to these young ones; any offer in kind to them is highly appreciated through OPERATION FREE JESUS PICTURES.

At this Orphanage there are about fifteen Children aged between sixteen years and eighteen years, who are picked from the streets. The Program coordinator for this orphanage Devota Murekatetesaid that most of these children lost their parents and relatives during the genocide in Rwanda so they took to the streets to find homage in their respective territories. I was told that there was another affiliate Orphanage at a place called Kayonza; Here there are twelve Children; Devota said that all of them were Boys, asserting that it was hard to find girls on the Streets.

The main Problems being faced are Lack of enough funding since most of the funding is foreign, also some of the children at the home get stressed out by being confined in one place, having been used to the freedom at the streets, so in due course some of them escape; That previous Sunday I was told that one of the Children escaped from a Church they had gone for Prayers and that they were still looking for him. I was taken around the Children's Home and the facilities are good. I gave Devota some money to buy some thing for the Children to eat. They are very wonderful children and as they received the Free Jesus Pictures they were all so Happy and added that they Loved Jesus.

I was honored to be at this Hospital, as one of the nurses (Pastor Francis' friend) took us around the patient wards; with the Pastor we Lay Hands on the sick, Prayed to the FATHER IN HEAVEN to heal them, as we gave out the Free Jesus Pictures.

The Pastor told me that previously he used to come at this hospital twice a week for Fellowship with the patients and hospital staff. The Nurse who was our guide could only clearly speak out Kinyarwanda and French, She made an effort to Speak some English, of which I could understand, she said the next time I visited Rwanda she would be speaking fluent English, at that I promised to go back to Rwanda maybe in December and also promised her the next time I came around I would be speaking fluent Kinyarwanda and French; We left her with more Free Jesus Pictures to give out to the other patients; She extended her Heartfelt Gratitude to OPERATION FREE JESUS PICTURES.

WATCHING THE PASSION OF CHRIST

Later on that evening (24th-04-06), about 200 People gathered at the Church to watch Passion of Christ, most of them were watching it for the first time, as it would be; the enemy (devil) exerted his pressure. At the exact time people were already sited waiting for the movie to start, electricity went off; Good enough the Pastor has a stand by small generator which was switched on to provide electricity, the movie was then showed, however the Church has a small Television screen which can not provide adequate monitor visual display to a huge crowd in the Church, never the less the motion picture-PASSION OF CHRIST was watched in calm, some brutal and vicious scenes left the People Speechless and by the time the movie came to an end, during the closing Prayer by the Pastor, many were heard Weeping and Crying out to the FATHER IN HEAVEN. The Pastor was going to have the movie shown again the next Sunday. What a Tremendous Impact THE PASSION OF CHRIST has to the present day Christian and Non-Christian.

GROWTH AND STRONG ESTABLISHMENT
OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH IN RWANDA

During my stay in Rwanda it was evident enough that the FATHER'S stronghold on the Christian Church in Rwanda has made its  way into the hearts of the Christians in Rwanda! The Rwandese People now hold a strong sense of Brotherhood in Christianity and FORGIVENESS has affirmed its way in the People's Hearts;

By the Grace of GOD, The Tutsi and Hutu Tribes in Rwanda have decided to come together, putting their tribal differences aside and uniting to promote the development of their country. Considering the floods of blood and major sacrifices offered, there is no more room for any genocide tendencies. Rwandans are now living side by side in harmony which was not the case a decade or so ago. The Christian Church has paved way for Reconciliation through Christian advocacy for the people of Rwanda to Love one another as the Lord Jesus Loved man kind.At such a time when many leading World Christian Organizations, evangelists, Preachers are reaching out to the Nation of Rwanda, OPERATION FREE JESUS PICTURES came in to bring GOD'S LOVE, HOPE AND RECONCILIATION to the people of Rwanda. It was a Calling from the FATHER:

"Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these
who are members of my family, you did it to me (MATTHEW 25:40)
