GOD AND 911
One summer, over eight years ago, Char Tierney, Silvana Lupetti, and Therese Cooper were up at night waiting on the Holy Spirit. The three of us were together in our living room, waiting on the Father and talking together. Although it was night, we opened the curtains. As the dawn approached we all three saw a vision in the sky. It seemed as though the sky looked like the ocean. The sky was streaked with pink, and it looked exactly like the sea, with land in the background, and a few lights, as though there were houses scattered around. It looked so clearly like the ocean, that we even joked about the fisherman in the houses waking up and having coffee as they prepared to go out in the dawn hours to take their boats out to fish. Finally, Silvana said, "It actually looks like Morro Bay, California, towards Los Osos." We found it beautiful and restful and we thought that the Holy Spirit was refreshing our spirits by showing us a vision of the sea, but we didn't understand at that time what He meant by showing it to us.
A few weeks later, the Holy Spirit said to go to California, and while there to be baptized in the ocean. We had been talking about being baptized again (although we have all been baptized) because we knew already that the Holy Spirit had been bringing up the topic of baptism, and being baptized again. So, we planned to go to California. Then the Holy Spirit said something that startled us considerably. He said that He would like us to be "baptized for the dead". We did not know what to think about that. None of us had ever even heard a sermon on being baptized for the dead, but we did know that the Apostle Paul mentioned this practice in Scriptures. We agreed to go and we made preparations to leave for California to be baptized in the Pacific Ocean. On the way there, Char Tierney said by the Holy Spirit, "Rachel weeping for her children, for they are no more." We didn't know what was meant by that, but we realized that the Holy Spirit was making a statement that was relevant to our journey to the ocean, so we understood that some sort of tragedy was at hand. When we arrived in Morro Bay, California, where we were planning to be baptized in the ocean, we went to a beach which is near the Morro Bay State Park, where we were staying. It was a beach we had never been to before, although we had visited other beaches in the area. As we sat at the beach, the sun began to go down and the sky became streaked with pink and we saw the exact scene that we had seen in the vision in the sky a month or so prior to this. The sky was streaked with pink, the land was in the distance, and there were a few lights scattered around. We all recognized the vision immediately. Then the Holy Spirit told us to be baptized at that spot.
A few nights later, the Holy Spirit said to us on a Monday night, "Go down in the morning, and be baptized for the dead." So, the next morning, which was Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, we were preparing to go down to the ocean to be baptized when we heard news on the radio that the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were under attack. "During the eleventh hour," the Holy Spirit said, "go down to the ocean to be baptized for yourself and for others, and for the dead." There were five of us who were baptized in the water of the Pacific (Pacific means peaceful, for the coming Prince of Peace) Ocean in obedience to the Holy Spirit, and when we came out of the water to our car, the car's clock read 11:59 (Pacific time).
